Executive Director  (Closing October 26, 2020 at 5PM Central Time)

The Housing Authority of Utah County(HAUC) is seeking a highly qualified candidate to lead and manage the agency’s operating budget of $7.8 million and portfolio that includes 1,094 rental subsidies and 221 owned housing units.  HAUC is governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners and employs 23 staff.  HAUC is a High Performer in the Housing Choice Voucher Program. Utah County is the second most populous county in Utah with a 2010 population of 516,564. The third largest city is the state is Provo and it is located in Utah County.

The successful candidate should have completed a minimum of a Bachelors degree preferably in business administration, public administration, public finance, urban planning, public policy, urban studies or a closely related field.  Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible experience with a public housing authority, non-profit housing organization, or a private housing management firm.  However, candidates with exceptional academic or experience backgrounds that compensate for an academic or experience deficiency may still be considered at the discretion of the HAUC Board of Commissioners.  Finalists will be required to provide academic, work history, and salary history verification.  The consultant will complete criminal and credit history background checks.
